BRABUS XL 800 - based on the Mercedes-AMG G 63 (W 465)

There are SUVs. There are supercars. And then there is the BRABUS XL 800 – a masterpiece that bridges the gap between two worlds with technical superlatives that know no bounds. Based on the Mercedes-AMG G 63 W 465 series, this ultra-luxury SUV soars over any terrain with a ground clearance of 47 centimeters thanks to a specially developed BRABUS chassis with portal axles. With 800 horsepower from a twin-turbo V8 engine, it claims a world beyond the streets and the most extravagant boulevards. Every detail – from the WIDESTAR body made of exposed carbon fiber to the slate gray BRABUS Masterpiece interior – exudes absolute, unfiltered self-confidence.

Visually, the BRABUS XL 800 impresses with its BRABUS WIDESTAR exterior concept with characteristically wide wings at the front and rear, which are made entirely of exposed carbon. The BRABUS front apron is made of the same high-tech compound. It connects seamlessly with the BRABUS wings and optimally integrates the cable winch with a pulling force of 4,500 kg into the front. The robust BRABUS front roll bar is also part of the extended ADVENTURE program, which takes the supercar's off-road capabilities to the highest level. The rear of the car gets an exciting "wow-wow" effect from BRABUS thanks to a special carbon apron and a rear door panel made of the same material with a recessed BRABUS lettering. The BRABUS roof spoiler provides the final, exclusive visual highlight.

The BRABUS XL 800 not only impresses with its extravagant appearance, but also with its extremely powerful drive: the four-liter eight-cylinder biturbo engine of the BRABUS 800 produces 588 kW / 800 hp at 6,600 rpm and a maximum torque of 1,000 Nm, which is only available at 3,600 rpm. The two tailpipes of the BRABUS sports exhaust system made of stainless steel on each side of the car are framed by visible carbon fiber trim. It has integrated red Launch Ambience Lights, which are activated when the interior lighting is switched on. However, the main advantage of this exhaust system is the active sound control. Depending on the selected driving program, the V8 either whispers in the discreet "Coming Home" mode or emits an extremely powerful sound in the "Sport" mode. Maximum off-road capability was a top priority for the BRABUS engineers and designers when creating the BRABUS XL 800. In order to achieve a huge ground clearance of 47 centimeters and maximum articulation, which is also extremely useful on rough terrain, they developed special portal axles. The special chassis configuration also includes high-quality BRABUS Monoblock Z/HD wheels. The 9.5Jx22 wheels in a sporty eight-spoke design with the signature BRABUS black finish were manufactured using state-of-the-art forging and CNC machining technology and are the perfect combination of lightweight construction and strength. The BRABUS XL 800 shown here has a particularly exclusive Masterpiece interior, upholstered in slate gray leather. Even at first glance, the sophisticated, millimeter-precise “Double Cube” stitching on the insides of the door panels, the floor protection strips, the leather center strip of the Dinamica headliner and the seat center panels is impressive. To ensure optimal climate control of the seats, the seat surfaces designed with this pattern have been additionally perforated with millimeter precision. On other elements, a pattern with the BRABUS logo adds additional visual accents.
